Not having pile-on animations makes sense! Those actually rely on things being in sequence and people seeing the panels prior to it. Pile-on would be more for non-sequential gallery sort of strips

I'd imagine Pile-On strips would have to be exempt from having panel limits, besides like having some sanity check that you don't get a strip with a million panels! What are older backups? Stuff people have drawn a while ago but never submitted? I'd honestly just give like a warning like a week ahead of time and any old backups get wiped! It might not sound ideal, but I'm not sure trying to work around it is the best solution either.

Made her look adorable?? Muffin IS adorable!! I'm glad you like it!

It's definitely a lot better! There's a slight offset, but it's not too noticeable. For sure a step up from what we had before!

Oh my gosh, that explains why colour mixing has felt off! No, the indicator definitely matters. The numbers...? Those are probably important on the technical side, but on the user side, they don't really tell me much of anything! If I'm trying to adjust a colour I was previously using, and I'm going to make the judgement of it based on the position of the indicator. So let's say I want a lighter and more saturated version of the colour, I'd look at the indicator and pick a position up and right of it. However if the indicator isn't where the original colour actually is, what I'm picking isn't accurate to the adjustment I'm aiming to make. While the user could compensate for this offset, if they know about it, it's still needlessly annoying!

`battery` resurrecting the wiki thread ![Technonecromancy?](https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/839207245414006824/1106968877990170746/image.png?width=580&height=550) It's neat seeing ya'll putting in work to document the characters! Can be very helpful for getting an idea of what they're like when doing a comic!

Couldn't you still have it show the old colour for comparison until you either switched colour or drew on the canvas? Like temporarily keep the old value. Effectively, doing something outside the colour picker would act as the confirmation.

Okay that's a lot more than the initial 3 it had! No worries, the site does have a bit of a learning curve!

I love this idea! Hopefully I'll get a chance to add a panel before this gets filled up!

2022-11-08 13:01:35

That's exactly what it is, yup!

It's a spooky ghostdigger!

2022-11-06 18:20:21
I think it's not bad!

I was actually gonna come and comment that it should probably be hidden from the original place!

2022-11-06 07:50:31
Wow! Ya'll been busy! That layout you settled for definitely is a lot closer to what I'm used to working with. Looking forward to drawing with that! Isn't vector the reason PanelJam canvas starts to lag the longer you draw on it?

2022-10-28 15:34:26
Another thing that would help is to open up the site in another tab before you submit. This will make sure that you've got a connection, and that you're still logged in! I used to have to do that on PanelJam. Ironically, I had to write this comment twice cause it logged me out when I tried to post.

What bad nooz, rocks off my shooz. Seems like mentions code needs its fair dooz. Exact match, or auto complete, you must chooz. Best if only one you yuuz. I ought to lay off the booz.

It's probably best to try to practice and get a hang of linear sequences of events before we get into anything more complex!

A bomb that explodes twice! Finally, the days of single-use bombs are behind us. They were just so wasteful. Reusable bombs are much better for the environment!

Merge would definitely be super helpful!

Clicking the page numbers of the Frames page here instead directs to the Underway page? https://pchutney.com/userframe/69 ... nice.

While I get the appeal of your idea, I don't think it really makes sense for a collaborative website. Also anyone who uses the feed to see new panels will immediately see the thumbnails for all the panels anyway, defeating the purpose of this whole thing. A novel idea, but I'm not sure this site is a good fit for it.

2022-09-25 10:51:28
Considering that you can edit the strip at any time, you could accomplish timed games by basically just making an announcement in the comments saying how long the game will be going on for, and then closing the strip by editing the maximum panels to the current panels drawn. Editing can be disabled as well, if it was even enabled in the first place.

2022-09-21 19:32:03
I think having the initiation on the site itself makes more sense, as it doesn't rely on PanelJam staying usable, and also... There's nothing stopping from anyone making an account in someone else's name, which would be very easily exploited under that sort of a system,

2022-09-21 19:01:12
Yeah I don't see the number of accounts being an issue if they're forced to draw a 4 panel comic per account to get them approved. Make them work for it!

2022-09-21 18:40:04
They knew about the site already I believe https://pchutney.com/user/62 is the same person, so they've had a link to this place for a while

2022-09-21 17:48:41
Can you check the IPs? Would be good knowing where these attacks are coming from! This is the same guy who's been spamming PanelJam and Drooodle Also, to prevent this in the future, I'd suggest putting a cooldown on messages cause this guy has been posting like a hundred comments within a second. I'd imagine putting a limit to only being able to post 1 comment within a second, and not being allowed to post more than 50 comments within an hour. It could be bypassed by making more accounts, but it would definitely slow down attacks like this.

A friends feed sounds like a great idea! I wonder where you got that from... I might be wrong, but I think the blocking idea TFD suggested only applies to the feed, so a blocked person's comments, panels, etc don't show up for you on the feed page, but their contributions would still show up on the strips themselves. Their stuff will still be present and available, it's just that the people who how them blocked don't have it announced in their feeds. Hopefully that makes sense!

Thanks! I intended it to be a bottle of Sprite, since the title of the game is "sprites", but you're the second person who thought it was alcohol. Probably due to the low res, so it's pretty vague!
