This Strip is Not Safe For Work!

Soooo, I was suddenly thinking to myself, and I was curious if we could implement a timed game feature on this site. Ideally, when making a strip you could have a slider with adjustable time should you choose to enable it. Again, this is just a thought, and I'm not sure how this would work with editing panels (Probably wouldn't?) but I just thought I'd mention it because it crossed my mind. Considering that you can edit the strip at any time, you could accomplish timed games by basically just making an announcement in the comments saying how long the game will be going on for, and then closing the strip by editing the maximum panels to the current panels drawn. Editing can be disabled as well, if it was even enabled in the first place.

if you mean the speedy games on PJ: I kind of want that to stay as a PJ exclusive for now (at least as long as PJ is still around; and this way both PJ and PCh have their own shtiks) so it's planned only for the (hopefully) far future and of course there are some technical problems with it that I still need to iron out first: like how to do the timer so people cannot cheat e.g. I would need to store the start time on the server so people would not just edit the counter value with the inspect tool - but then what if you want to restart and start over? etc.

Yeah, makes sense. I just have been working on a lot of quicker drawing skills, and it makes it easier on my perfectionistic streak if there's something that forces me to stop XP And being able to set like a 5 minute limit and such would be convenient for slightly longer pieces. I saw all the technical problems, for sure, I just was curious on the likelihood of introduction. that is a good point - I guess I'm still overoptimistic over PJs state hmm.. you know maybe I'm overthinking it.. maybe it could be just a basic javascript counter .. and just ask people not to cheat if possible? something like that (after all now that it's guaranteed only legit folks are posting here a lot of safety concerns are simplified)
