Well, that's a fair point! I didn't really do that, though it's (kinda) the same principle! And I think uploading probably makes sense. I was opposed to it at one point, but to be honest, I think as a toggleable thing for strips (upload being set to on or off according to preference) it probably makes sense to implement. That way those who prefer to work in the site tools can, and those who want to upload will have the option.

I also feel it sorta defeats the purpose of having a built in site art system. The point being to use the art tools and be creative. I could see this possibly undermining that by the use of images that have already been made. Really it just also feels generally unnecessary. I also have unconventional views, as I tend to believe that having more options often promotes laziness, and thereby lessens creativity. I'm not saying it's a terrible idea, and I can certainly see benefits to it, but sometimes half the fun is the challenge of creating something without optimal tools. This can be used to inspire new methods of doing things. Not to mention (What an odd phrase, mentioning something but claiming not to mention it), on the opposite end of the spectrum, having many tools causes some people to become very perfectionistic which can be very distressing.

Yeah, makes sense. I just have been working on a lot of quicker drawing skills, and it makes it easier on my perfectionistic streak if there's something that forces me to stop XP And being able to set like a 5 minute limit and such would be convenient for slightly longer pieces. I saw all the technical problems, for sure, I just was curious on the likelihood of introduction. Thanks for giving me the scoop Peyo XD Also, to be honest, I feel like PJ shtik is being troll central, but I get what you're saying!

Soooo, I was suddenly thinking to myself, and I was curious if we could implement a timed game feature on this site. Ideally, when making a strip you could have a slider with adjustable time should you choose to enable it. Again, this is just a thought, and I'm not sure how this would work with editing panels (Probably wouldn't?) but I just thought I'd mention it because it crossed my mind. You could add a trial period or something where new accounts can only add a low amount of drawings for a certain period or such. I feel like limiting the functionality of new accounts might prove useful in the measure, maybe limiting the amount of panels they can do early on until a week has passed or something, or at very least ones they can add to other's games. Just so they can't spam everything instantly. . Alternatively, you could even use a star-based system, where a user needs a certain amount of stars to get out of the trial period (new accounts couldn't give stars) So that could create a very basic level of moderation from the community in a way. The only problem doing this is it relies on the community to be generous, but hopefully that isn't a problem since I think there are a lot of kind people here. Or maybe you could spin this so that you could include a star limit for your jams? Just some thoughts.
