a few thoughts im not sure home needs its own button, just have it so the logo acts as the home button i like the add new and random buttons, but i dont feel like completed, in progress, or claim are intuitive as icons and probably would be best as text login and register as well, which should probably occupy the space you have your avatar in when logged in

yes the register and login won't be there after login (just like now) that's a good idea for the home button agreed: "random" and "add new" icons will stay (or at least will have a very similar design in the final one) I have a hard time fitting text on the small screeen so I definetly need ideas for the "complete", "in progress" and "claimed" icons (I guess claimed could move under the user profile maybe?)

ok after re-reading your comment: login and register buttons need rethinking too .. acknowledged any thoughts on the forum an users icons?

The website looks… very very off on my iPad. I don’t know if it’s intentional, but it looks very confusing XD

I sent you how it looks on email once again. (Perhaps comments could have an image uploading feature on forums in the near distant future?) if this isn’t how it’s supposed to look, please send me a screenshot of how it looks on computer, I’d love to see :)

six images: yes that is for just testing scrolling (should have used 6 different images I guess) seems to look how it should too .. so the problem is now in my head at least now (and not css) confusion: anything besides my dubious choosing for the test image? :D

(also this is how it supposed to look on desktop) 

 this looks pretty awful but a concept of what the layout could be. pj banner at the top for scale comparison. bottom is just the alt version for people not logged in. so the home button is replaced by link functionality in the panelchutney logo. simplified forum button into just a speech bubble moved the random and add game button above completed and in progress would be text buttons the three lines button next to them would be a dropdown menu where users page, claimed games, and any other pages not important enough to be on the main ui would be placed the weird red dot is a notification thing and youd see notifications by tapping on your profile image and opening another dropdown menu. alternatively itd open up your profile page which would be where you can also see the messages?

thats ok these are good ideas I was thinking of combining the login and registering page.. not sure what to replace the face of that looks like a login page icon that also implies you can register there though (but i guess PJ had the right idea here as well) also maybe the logo could be replaced with a little home button .. or just the chutney? (or whatever the final logo of the site will be) (the site's name is not really that important imho and just a placeholder really)

I like the layout carrot came up with. However I think the three buttons for forum, etc should have a transparent background. It'd make it look cleaner. Also the red dot can be interpreted as an offline dot (that's what I thought it was at first glance) so perhaps it could be a red explanation point or bell? Something simple like that
