Please Make An Option for Secret Strips To Retain Their Members List

After some testing of the secret hidden strips it seems that after you have them passed to you and complete a panel, they are returned to the originator and you can no longer comment without having your comment devoured by the void. You can still edit comments you have made however! Please give an option to make a hidden game keep everyone it has been passed to included, as that would allow for multi-draw games of this nature. (Yes it would be used.)

that seems to be a bug 🤔 anyway let me make a list first: - people should be able to add comments to secret games (if they got involved) - do you also want them to add panels without a pass? or only if its set to multidraw? - is there anything else seems broken?

Peyo, hey there I actually like the option of a 1 time pass (It could be good for controlled projects) but I think of more use would be a mode where if you pass to someone they get added to the game and retain the ability to post and comment. Think of it in actual use, for instance if 2 people wanted to start a comic concept and just have it between them to be added to as they each think of panels, without it having to be passed each time. Not limited to two of course but however many they wanted to add. What would be slick would be if someone it was passed to was added to the authorization list for that strip even if they unpassed so it would be a way to let people in on it without them having to do a strip right away. But yes people should be able to add comments if they were passed to I think adding panels without a pass should be an option. Like maybe it could default to 1 add per pass but could also be made for unlimited. I'd say the worst part was it just ate comments with no warning if you made comments after doing a panel. That caused the most confusion because I assumed my comments were sent but they never were, they just poofed. So if that's to happen a warning would be great!

that is just the server side protection for them: I need to check these things twice: one for to show the button and once when you actually send the command - so in this case the two checks differed and you should have been able to comment and it was a bug you couldn't

You could probably have secret be by default how it is right now where you need a pass to add a panel, and then have an extra setting to enable people to retain access to the strip. Kinda how animation has extra settings that are only relevant to that mode

`Peyo` There is a weird inherent unpleasantness in not being able to see a panel you made earlier! (I am not complaining at you just saying, I did notice that's distressing. It's like a piece of work you did is locked away in someone else's possession.)

you cannot see them in feed yet (wip) can you see them in your profile? `TeeEffDee` [https://pchutney.com/userprog/52](https://pchutney.com/userprog/52) (i only see 13, if you see more then this part works) 🤔 `Aluminimalism` if you guys want it to work it that way then sure (but for now its faster to just make everyone already involved to get access)

`Peyo` Oh yes now I see them in my profile! Also I honestly am not trying to make extra work for you and I think the method of having everyone involved get access would be great. That's more realistically the one that would be of use for people, the one of a one-time pass and then being closed out would be more of a niche situation. Thank you for seeing to it so quickly! Also Peyo it's of course your business but you do have every right to be able to see everything that happens on the site! In fact I'd say it's better if you do so you can judge if things that are happening are things you want going on on your site. So I hope you never actually feel hesitant about looking at "private" things. People really should never be doing anything on your site (or any site) that they aren't okay with the owner knowing about.

thats okay i already promised to do it, its just some other stuff takes priority (work etc.) also I need to be in the right headspace to code web stuff 🤔 in a way i can see everything (after all I have full access to the database) but there are no extra privileges built in for admin users to see the secret pages (on one hand that would be rude and also I'm too lazy to implement it) 🤔

`Peyo` We're testing it out and so far everything looks good! Comments work both ways, and it looks like once it is passed it stays available. Great work! This is a neat feature!

`Peyo` I thought it was working but on this strip https://pchutney.com/strip/1892 Aluminimalism and me are running into a problem where whenever I try and draw next panel the page just refreshes and nothing else. She tried unpassing and re-passing but it made no difference!

`Peyo` Okay we tested it and yep I was able to submit multiple panels without need for additional passing, after Aluminimalism made a first panel and passed to me! So it seems like everything's working fine or at least I haven't seen more bugs. Thank you and great work!
